SiriusXM Hosts its Second Annual Celebrity Fantasy Football Event in Times Square tomorrow, July 28.

NY Giant David Diehl, Alice In Chains guitarist and co-vocalist Jerry Cantrell, WWE Star Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, Playboy Playmate Pilar Lastra, Rich Gannon, Gary Dell’Abate, Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo, Steve Phillips, Jay Thomas, Adam Schein, Scott Ferrall, Steve Covino, Rich Davis, and John Hansen will participate live at the Hard Rock Café.

Opie & Anthony kick off event with a live broadcast from Hard Rock stage

The event marks the anniversary of SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio's launch last year.

NEW YORK, NY – July 27, 2011 – Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) will host the second annual SiriusXM Celebrity Fantasy Football Draft, a showcase event featuring a series of special broadcasts from a wide variety of SiriusXM hosts at the Hard Rock Café in New York City’s Times Square tomorrow, July 28.

The event will mark the one year anniversary of the launch of SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, the exclusive 24/7 fantasy sports channel airing on channel 87 on XM and channel 210 on Sirius Premier (formerly known as “The Best of XM”). SiriusXM subscribers will be invited to attend or tune in from around the country and will be treated to programming from across the SiriusXM spectrum.

The event will kick off at 8:00 am ET with a live broadcast of the popular Opie & Anthony Show - hosted by Gregg “Opie” Hughes and Anthony Cumia with comedian Jim Norton - live from the Hard Rock Café on The Virus, channel 105 on XM and channel 206 on Sirius Premier.

A variety of SiriusXM personalities and celebrities will be in attendance to participate in the event including NY Giants offensive lineman David Diehl, Alice In Chains guitarist and co-vocalist Jerry Cantrell, WWE star Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, Playboy Playmate and Playboy Radio host Pilar Lastra, Howard Stern Show executive producer Gary Dell’Abate, Mad Dog Radio’s Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo and Steve Phillips, SiriusXM NFL Radio’s Rich Gannon and Adam Schein, Emmy Award-winning actor and SiriusXM host Jay Thomas, The Scott Ferrall Show’s Scott Ferrall, The Covino & Rich Show’s Steve Covino and Rich Davis, and SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio host John Hansen, who won last year’s SiriusXM Celebrity Fantasy Football League.

The celebrity fantasy football draft will kickoff off at 11:00 am ET. This year’s draft will feature 12 teams which will be managed by celebrities and personalities from across the SiriusXM programming spectrum. SiriusXM NFL Radio’s Adam Schein and Rich Gannon, a 17-year NFL quarterback and the 2002 NFL MVP, will emcee the event, which will be conducted live on the Hard Rock stage and will air nationwide on both SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio (channel 87 on XM and channel 210 on Sirius Premier) and SiriusXM NFL Radio (channel 88 on Sirius and XM Premier (formerly known as “The Best of Sirius”)). Fantasy sports fans around the country can tune to hear celebrity team managers select their rosters and verbally joust with their competitors.
