January 14th, Pekin High School played Limestone High School at home in a Mid Iliini Conference game. With 3 seconds to go, Limestone took the lead by one. With no time-outs, Senior Maddie Cordts passed the ball to Junior (#4), Katie Powell. Powell took one dribble, and launched a shot from 3/4 court. The shot went in as the buzzer sounded, and Pekin won 55-53.
