Cornell produces robot that can play darts, shoot mini-basketballs

Robotics research, a collaboration between the Creative Machines Lab at Cornell and the lab of Heinrich Jaeger at the University of Chicago, has produced The Kinetic Object grippiNg Arm, or KONA, -- which can shoot mini-basketballs and throw darts. Badly.



Nice. Now get together with the folks at the University of Manitoba and build a hockey playing robot that can punch.
