Rockford’s Rob Flick and Milwaukee’s Jeremy Smith exchanged words and blows in front of the Milwaukee net, resulting in a bench-clearing fracas that, after the dust had settled and referees re-established order, saw Flick, goalie Carter Hutton, Shawn Lalonde, Ryan Stanton and head coach Ted Dent given game misconduct penalties and sent off for Rockford.
Smith, Jeff Foss, Michael Latta, Zack Stortini and head coach Ian Herbers were penalized and ejected for Milwaukee.
