Rock climber Katie Brown is the hot chick in the Citibank Thank You Card 'somebody left the gate open' commercial that you all hate. Filmed on Fisher Towers in Utah's Moab area, Katie is a 3x X-Games W's Difficulty winner who has a book to boot, Girl on the Rocks: A Woman's Guide to Climbing with Strength, Grace, and Courage.
Oh, and the commecial? Real:
The general public was apparently wigged with vertigo at the camera angles as Brown and [fellow climber Alex] Honnold climbed Ancient Art outside Moab, a moderate trad route, and didn’t believe that what they were doing was “real.” No, Virginia, a helicopter didn’t plop a couple of models there and it isn’t CGI.
