Gonna choke her until she's 'actually dead': Ronda Rousey on Sarah Kaufman

Strikeforce held its Ronda Rousey / Sarah Kaufman press conference and, surprise surprise, Rousey continued with her over-the-top hyperbole. Fine line between creating just enough buzz and becoming a WWE like sideshow. Here's a snippet:

I respect Sarah a lot as an opponent and I've trained harder for this fight than for any other fight before. She might not know it but she should be thanking her lucky stars that MMA is properly regulated in California. Because I respect her so much that I'm not taking any chances. If I get her in an armbar, I'm gonna try and rip it off and throw it at her opponent, uh corner. And if I get her in a choke I'm gonna hold onto it until she's actually dead. And if I get her in a knockout I'm not gonna walk away from it I'm gonna try to actually pound her face into the ground and she's depending on the competence of the California Athletic Commission to be able to walk out of that cage alive.



We do know there will probably be no tickling.

Rousey is the prohibitive favorite tomorrow night: Ronda Rousey (5-0) -650 vs. Sarah Kaufman (15-1) +475 (A bettor would need to bet $650 on Rousey to win $100; Bet $100 on Kaufman to win $475.)
