Why are Football Players Being Baptized at Clemson Football Practices?

U.S.News & World Report ranks Clemson as the country’s 25th best public research university. So what is its football team doing conducting baptisms following practices? That's what happened last week as wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was baptized in front of his teammates and coaches

Wide Receivers Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Jeff Scott tweeted the pic below along with 'Highlight of my week....was seeing DeAndre Hopkins get Baptized in front of his teammates on Thursday after practice.'

And JPP was nowhere in sight.

Scott took to Twitter yet again after folks weighed in on the event, "I am blessed to be at Clemson. Bob is a great friend. Hope to meet you at a Clemson game soon."

Indeed.
