HS RB runs out of bounds on sure TD so teammate whose dad had died could score

St. Clairsville (Ohio) running back Michael Ferns broke free and was on his way to a 58 yard touchdown, but he instead stepped out of bounds at the opponents' 1. He wanted freshman teammate Logan Thompson, a linebacker, to get the score. Because Logan's dad had died of a stroke 2 days before.

Thompson took to Twitter:
