Minnesota HS hockey player Logan Haskins' between-the-legs goal one for those GOTY lists

Mayo High School (MN) faced rival Rocester Century on the ice Saturday at the Rochester Recreation Center -- and heads are still shaking over the goal scored by Mayo sophomore Logan Haskins. Haskins took a pass off the boards from Nick Newman near center ice and as he moved into the attack zone he put the puck between his legs to slip around the defender.

Good enough move but Century goalie Eric Rohleder was able to poke check it away...which could have prevented the slick stick work from going viral. So of course Logan grabbed the deflection and put it in as he fell to the ice.



"I was shocked … unbelievable," Mayo junior forward Tommy Hanson said. "He has great poise with the puck. He does that in practice, but to see him do it in a game…"

Colton Yellow Horn would be impressed.
