Hudsonville (MI) Chucks it Full Length of the Court, Cody Stuive hits Hook Shot to Send it to OT

Hudsonville sophomore Brent Hibbitts, 1.5 seconds on the clock down 2 to Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern, chucked the inbounds pass to Cody Stuive near the free-throw line. Stuive turned and hit a hook shot at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.

“There’s a little logic behind (the last play of regulation),” Hudsonville coach Eric Elliott said. “We have a 6-foot-6 kid who can run and get the ball, and we have another 6-foot-6 kid who can throw the ball very well. We figured that, with a little luck involved, you put those pieces together and we could at least get it down there.”



Hudsonville 64 FHN 60 in the Class A regional semifinal.
