Today, he went further.
Francesa took a call from Joe in Long Island. Joe was upset over this whole Jason Collins 'thing.' Francesa went on to agree with the homophobe that 'this doesn't have to be rubbed in everyone's faces, even after the caller stated that 'this is not normal.'
The 55-year-old parent said he told his kid when asked what gay means that it means 'happy.'
Francesa agreed as a parent that these were very good points.
Later - 'Joe' asked, "What's next? Pedophilia?" Francesa's response? "Now you went too far. That's illegal and people won't take you seriously now. I understand your frustration and you brought up a great point. It's accepting, not promoting someone's lifestyle to kids."
Got that? Comparing homosexuality to pedophilia is 'insulting.'
And Mike Francesa never called for 9-11 loyalty oaths or stated that Israel was a 'failed experiment.' So there.
