UFC suspends Nate Diaz for fag tweet, his manager defends

Seems the UFC has suspended fighter Nate Diaz for tweeting that Bryan Caraway is a fag for taking money given to him by the company after it was taken from Pat Healy because he tested positive for marijuana. "I feel bad for pat Healy that they took a innocent mans money and I think the guy who took the money is the biggest Fag in the world .." Diaz tweeted.

“We are very disappointed by Nate Diaz’s comments, which are in no way reflective of our organization," a UFC statement read. "Nate is currently suspended pending internal investigation and we will provide further comment once the matter has been decided.”

UFC President Dana White told MMAjunkie.com that Diaz would be suspended, fined, and perhaps released.

Making matters worse...the tweet is still up (see below) as of 1:58 PM ET today and...Diaz' manager decided to explain:

"Guess what?" Mike Kogan told MMAjunkie.com "The word faggot, at least in Northern California, and where Nate is from, means bitch. It means you're a little punk. It has nothing to do with homosexuals at all. So when Nate made the comment that he made, he didn't make it in reference to homosexuals or calling Caraway a homosexual. He just said it was a bitch move."
