Former Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk Skipped White House Visit Because Obama said, "God Bless You"

An already much thinner former Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk says 'being pro choice is one thing' but saying 'God bless you' to a Planned Parenthood meeting is just over the top. Birk skipped the team's Super Bowl champions visit to the White House last week in a shining example of well planned (get it?) grandstanding.

He tells Sean Hannity:

"..in remarks on April 26 celebrating Planned Parenthood, he [Birk] noticed that President Obama said "God bless you" at the end of his address to the organization. It was the first time a president had given an address to Planned Parenthood. Birk called it a "contradiction" to acknowledge God while voicing support to Planned Parenthood.

"Three-hundred thirty thousand lives ended last year at Planned Parenthood and being pro-choice is one thing, but bringing God into it? That's just too much for me to handle and I just didn't see much upside in going," said Birk, noting that his former teammates were supportive of his decision."

Of course teammates were supportive. It meant Matt was AWOL. Here's the interview (which includes the obligatory Tim Tebow has had a rough time landing because of his faith line). He says the God nonsense is the reason he skipped and then drones on for 5 minutes in a pro life diatribe.:

I've never met a woman who said she regretted having children? Please, you're hanging in the wrong neigborhoods then. In the immortal words of Howard Stern: The more abortions the better.
