David Price the latest loser to call out media for not being pro athletes

David Price gave up 7 earned runs in 7 innings last night against the Red Sox (Tampa Bay eventually losing 7-4). So what was on the pitcher's mind as the Rays fell behind Boston 0-2? The TBS broadcast. Price tweeted, "Dirk Hayhurst...COULDNT hack it...Tom Verducci wasn't even a water boy in high school...but yet they can still bash a player...SAVE IT NERDS"

TBL's Jason Lisk points out, "He called out Dirk Hayhurst because he “couldn’t hack it” (Hayhurst pitched in 25 games in the major leagues, mostly as a reliever)." Lisk adds, "Also, kind of awkward that Price’s manager (well, for at least a few more games) is probably the biggest “nerd” who didn’t play the sport, but is one of the most successful managers in the game."
