Craig Carton v Putz Douchenick

Phil Mushnick asked yesterday, "Can we be any more maudlin than to suggest that the death of Martin St. Louis’ mother had an impact on the Penguins-Rangers series? Her passing caused the Pens’ to shoot at Henrik Lundqvist rather than past him?"

Today, Craig Carton took on Putz Duchneck, stating: "You don't get it. No one said they're going to beat the Pens because of the death of St. Louis' mom. No one's suggesting they won because of it or that there's these magical powers from heaven coming down that's redirecting pucks away from the goal, you moron."

So it brought them all together, they rallied behind MSL and that made them play better...but that didn't help them beat the Penguins. Got it.

In an unrelated story, here's moron Joe Benigno stating, "there's these magical powers from heaven coming down that's redirecting pucks away from the Rangers' goal now that Mrs. St. Louis has died."
