Fireman Ed: Joe Benigno a 2 faced back stabber who wouldn't say it to your face

Fireman Ed spoke with WFAN's Sid Rosenberg today. He took Jets fans through his 'retirement' as the super fan who led 80,000 people through the J-E-T-S chant popular before the days of PSLs and Geno Smith. And he went through the feud he's had with Joe Benigno & Peter Schwartz (who tweeted, "Instead of taking a fan that walked out on them out to lunch, the @nyjets should focus on making their fan base happy by focusing on winning").

On Joe & Pete:

Those were the guys in school who were picked last for teams. They're clowns. I don't rate them, I don't worry about them.

On Benigno:

Joe Benigno is Chicken Little. They sky's always falling. I don't want to be in a foxhole with Joe. He bashes me every chance but you know I was in his office for an hour once and he was the nicest guy in the world. He gave me his number. We were going to go party after the Championship game and then he's killing me every chance he gets. When he sees you he talks one way, when he doesn't see you he's a different guy. In my neighborhood guys like him got what they had coming to them.

Peter Schwartz. Are you kidding me? Stop with the cheeseburgers, relax. Come'on guy - we took your lunch money when you were a kid.
