EXCLUSIVE: Defense Intelligence Agency Actively Researching Mike Francesa's Claim of Pentagon Work

Washington, D.C. -- Mike Francesa claims knowledge of a secret high level blue ribbon panel put together by the Pentagon that included Bill Parcells & Tom Osborne whose mission was to improve Army Football.

Oh, and they called Mike too, ok?

The Blitz can exclusively reveal today that the Department of Defense's Defense Intelligence Agency is actively investigating Francesa's claim with a full report due, subject to potential substantial delay in processing, by the end of June.

Bob's Blitz has learned that the potential for a delay forcing the report's release past June 2015 hinges on "the potential to search for and collect records from a facility geographically separated from the office of the DIA, the potential volume of records, and the need for consultation with one or more other agencies which have substantial interest in either the determination or the subject matter of the records."

Mike Francesa has a long history over which he appears to have become a mentally ill mythomaniac who has gone unpunished for his professional on-air pseudologia fantastica. Is he lying about having consulted for the Pentagon? Probably. Either way, in at least this one particular case -- Francesa will have at some point in the near future an official U.S. Government report to either confirm his work with the DoD ... or one he'll have to answer for.
