WFAN Fantasy Phenom contestant Sam Mines complained to Mike Francesa yesterday that the St. Patrick's Day morning practice with Boomer & Carton last week did not go as contestants were told it would. "I'm glad it didn't count for anything."
Note to Sam: Everything counts and bitching isn't a good trait to open with.
Mines didn't make Craig Carton all warm and fuzzy after he got wind. Carton warned:
A good little memo to the other contestants. You probably not going to do yourself any favors if you take shots at other shows on this radio station. Or you complain about the process of getting through Fantasy Phenom. If you become a finalist and you're already complaining, why would anyone ever hire you?
And if you don't think that that admonishment is as serious as a heart attack - watch Craig's face as Al Dukes makes a point about the lack of TV cameras. The not on due to soccer comment is out before Al finishes his sentence.
Not good. Not good.
