For sale at auction: Lot #387 - There hasn't been a car produced from General Motors like this since it was built in limited supply in 1987. The Buick GNX had the full green light from the bosses of Buick to level its stamp on the automotive industry forever. The result was taking an already potent and car-world-altering Grand National and moving it to a mountaintop level of performance, pushing horsepower to nearly 300; rocketing the car to 60 mph in only 4.7 seconds, faster than any other car available in the U.S. in 1987. So much can be said about the GNX, but the bottom line is this: there were only 547 built. This Buick GNX is number 385, with only 362 actual miles. It is stock, original, non-modified and beautiful from top to bottom. The seller has the original Window Sticker from ASC, as well as books, manuals, paperwork and accompanying history. This is a beautiful car, the paint shines and is absolutely excellent with no damage or major issues, only light wear is evident from age. The wheels are excellent as well, and the beautiful interior is like new, with plastic still on the seats.
Our boys at TurboBuick weren't so thrilled.
Why yes, Bob does miss his GN a bit.
