Boomer Esiason couldn't take any more of Joe Benigno's stupidity today

WFAN/CBS execs desperately wanted Boomer & Carton to remain on air during Bob Kraft's Deflategate presser today. Desperately did not want Joe & Evan to be the voices over and immediately after it. (How embarrassing is that for the mid day duo? Probably not much...)

But Esiason 'had to go.' Which led to a B&C crossover with Benigno and Roberts.

And at some point (8:50 mark), Boomer snapped. No longer able to deal with the abject radio that is Joe Benigno.

Benigno, sporting greasy hair, greasy smile, and some sort of Tour de France t-shirt that was, shall we say, gut revealing, was left to take the onslaught as his radio partner sat slumped like a nervous 12-year-old.



Good stuff. Would have been even better had someone, anyone, reined in the absurd amount of audio overs that were let to disrupt the moment.
