WFAN's DraftKings pitchman Joe Benigno on fantasy football: "I want nothing to do with it..."

A sample of what we've written over the past 2 months includes, "@ftc Joe Benigno on WFAN in NY, ad for @draftkings: "Win 2 million dollars. Pick your team, pick your players, pick up the winnings." Adding, "Sounds A LOT like Joe Benigno PROMISES a win in the @DraftKings ad for the $2MM contest. No @ftc?"

Well, NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman listened, shuttering DraftKings and FanDuel in New York and mentioning the 'deceptive' advertising above to boot.

But that didn't stop WFAN from running the fugazi, misleading Joe Benigno read ads. And, just 5 minutes after one ran today - Joe and Evan took a very interesting call from Brad 'in the car.' 2 weeks ago he won a $15 million dollar qualifier on DraftKings - one of 200 entries that would compete in San Diego for $5 (How's that 15 v 5 work?) million dollars in December. Brad had a real question - A) Because he won when legal in NY - does he remained grandfathered and B) What happens if the company can't hold and or afford the SD contest?

How'd Joe Benigno, biggest DFS shill there is, follow up the call? By stating, "...You know I am illiterate basically with this stuff, I want nothing to do with it."

That's some great communication between CBS advertising and the folks at DraftKings who have shelled out tons of cash to WFAN.

Welcome to the big time.
