So we just spoke with Craig Carton regarding this bet with Tim in Ct. and...

OK, we've been going back and forth with Tim in Milford and Craig Carton regarding the semantics of their "stupid" vs. $200 Amex Card bet. Here's the latest:

Tim states that the bet was Craig's 'Slap that Pig' tailgate had to appear on 3 networks. If it did, he'd have to wake up stupid. If it didn't - Carton would have to pay up with $200 bucks.

Craig Carton tweeted (*Update...and has now deleted):

Check the tape. The bet was that I would be on TV. PERIOD STOP. YOU LOST AND AS A RESULT WOKE UP STUPID @timchacho @BobsBlitz

And we got in touch with Carton to go over this from his prospective.

Craig tells us the open to the potential of a wager begins when he says, "You wanna make a bet? I'll bet you any amount of money that it's on the NFL Network, the NFL Today, and CBS Sports." BUT that the actual wager itself hinges on the word, 'SO.'

"So you wanna bet a $200 dollar American Express gift card that it's not on TV?"



And this is why bets need a handshake...and a contract.



**Update -- Craig Carton emails, "AND YOU CAN TELL TIM IN CONNECTICUT TO GO TO HELL. HE LOST. I WON'T BE CONTACTING HIM. I'M LOSING THE NUMBER AND THE EMAIL ADDRESS. PERIOD STOP."
