Not realizing it's a jinx, the Cubs
encased that Kyle Schwarber HR ball last year and put it up on the video board. (The ball was placed in a glass case atop the right field video board after Schwarber's home run to clinch the National League Division Series against the St. Louis Cardinals last season.)
Now, realizing it was a jinx, the Cubs have removed Schwarber's ball from the Wrigley Stadium video board.
Sorry, not good enough. Damage is done.
