NJ Devils are giving away a kickass custom OCC motorcycle


Next week is Devils Fan Appreciation Week, which covers their final three regular season home games: 4/5 vs. Buffalo, 4/7 vs. TB and 4/9 vs. Toronto. Here are the highlights:

• Giving away a kickass custom motorcycle from Orange County Choppers on April 9. Check out this video.
• Also giving away trips to the 2017 NHL All-Star Game, 2016 NHL Awards in Vegas and a 2016-17 Devils Road Trip, one each night
• Additional giveaways and prizes include a New Jersey golf experience, Six Flags passes, a weekend at the Jersey Shore, gift certificates from Macy’s and Calandra’s Bakery, t-shirts, lucky row and seat giveaways, including prizes from NHL Network, discounts on food and beverages at each game, and more
• Some players will be making surprise appearances throughout the week as well


NEWARK, NJ -- (March 30, 2016) – After one of the highest-attended seasons in franchise history, with close to 700,000 patrons through Prudential Center’s gates, the New Jersey Devils are ready to show their gratitude to the fans who provide home ice advantage night in and night out. Devils Fan Appreciation Week presented by Prudential, including games on April 5 vs. Buffalo, April 7 vs. Tampa Bay and April 9 vs. Toronto, will feature hundreds of prizes, giveaways and experiences as the organization says “Thank you, Jersey.”

“This season has been an exciting one for me, in large part due to the incredible passion and support of Devils fans,” said Ray Shero, New Jersey Devils Executive Vice President and General Manager. “As we finish our first season here, I am extremely proud to be a part of this organization. I’m optimistic about the team’s foundation, direction and culture that we have established. Our fans have inspired us to go out and play hard each and every night.”

The week-long celebration will conclude on Fan Appreciation Night (April 9) with the presentation of a one-of-a-kind, custom Devils motorcycle created by Orange County Choppers. Fans can register for the Devils O.C.C. Chopper Giveaway presented by Halmar until April 5 at 11:59 p.m., including at the Devils-Sabres game that night. Three finalists will be notified and invited to the April 9 game where one winner will be announced. Fans at all three games will be able to get their picture taken with the chopper on the concourse.



The Devils will also give away three trips to fans in attendance during Fan Appreciation Week, including a Devils 2016-17 Road Trip (April 5), the 2017 NHL All-Star Game (April 7) in Los Angeles, and the 2016 NHL Awards (April 9), which will be held in Las Vegas in June.

Additional prizes and giveaways throughout the week include: a New Jersey golf experience, a weekend at the Jersey Shore, gift certificates from Macy’s and Calandra’s Bakery, t-shirts, lucky row and seat giveaways, including prizes from NHL Network, discounts on food and beverages, and more.

Season Ticket Members in attendance will be eligible for additional exclusive prizing throughout the week. Members will be instructed to look at the scoreboard at certain points during each game where membership numbers will be flashed. Winning Members can collect their prizes at the Membership Lounge.

Each of the three Fan Appreciation Week games will kick off with Fan Fest on Championship Plaza. The Tuesday and Thursday events, which will be open from 5-7 p.m., will feature beverages for purchase, prizes and giveaways, street hockey, face painting and a DJ to entertain fans before puck drop. On Tuesday, April 5 only, Mountain Dew Kickstart will offer sampling of four flavors on the Plaza.

The Saturday, April 9 event will open at 4 p.m. and, in addition, include the Bud Light Beer Garden, DJ Yoshi, chili tasting presented by Goya Foods, special performances and live music.

Once inside Prudential Center, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a number of concourse activities, including taking photos with “The Salute,” Martin Brodeur’s tribute statue, and this season’s three life-sized bobbleheads of Cory Schneider, Michael Cammalleri and Adam Henrique.

All fans in attendance at the regular season finale on April 9 will receive a t-shirt courtesy of Prudential. The winner of “Key To Our House” presented by Prudential, a season-long contest that recognized New Jersey residents who make an impact within the communities they work and live in, will also be announced on April 9. One of four finalists will take home the ultimate prize, two tickets to Prudential Center events, including Devils games, for one year. Fans can vote for a winner at PruCenter.com/keytoourhouse through Thursday, March 31.
