SOLVED: AVG Anti-Virus 17.4.3014 slowing machine to a hault

Did you just get the 'upgrade' to AVG AntiVirus Free v 17.4.3014? Is your computer running at a standstill?

We went to Settings - Components - Software Analyzer ... and uninstalled it. Rebooted. Fixed.

Now if anyone can figure out why a Full Computer Scan' now takes over 2 hours? Have at it.
