WFAN's Gregg Giannotti incorrectly bashes Joe Grushecky for butchering his name years ago...never mentions it again

Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan launched on February 15, 2010. This morning repetitive bully Gregg Giannotti at his current gig as co-host of Boomer & Gio on WFAN in New York recalled that Joe Grushecky (of Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers which had American Babylon, produced by Bruce Springsteen) was commissioned to do a theme song for the new station that was "so bad they had to fake they liked it so as not to offend anyone."

"He (Grushecky) totally butchered everybody's name," Gio stated adding, "It was so bad and we had to pretend that it was great."

"It was terrible."

Gio recalled Joe getting all the stations' hosts names wrong - starting with his - 'Gregg Giamelli.'

"He screwed the whole thing up."

There's one problem with a bully ripping someone 9 years later safely from a studio hours away: We have the tapes and Joe Grushecky pronounced Giannotti's name perfectly.

Here's the full Pittsburgh PA 93.7 The Fan Pittsburgh's Only Hometown Sports Station theme song. Yeah, Giannotti got the title and refrain wrong too.

And guess what else? The song is excellent. Not Boomer & Carton Theme Song great but...it is excellent.

Gregg Giannotti, though addicted to Twitter, never apologized to Joe (and we reached out to 93.7 to see if there was any other version our there to no avail).

Stay Classy.
