Boston's Bobby V. Erred in $$ Payback of Closed Youth League Families

Boston Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine promised to make good on individual $475 'tryout fees' after his "All-American" baseball team folded up, according to the NY Post. But now, as parents still haven's received their refunds (Bobby V. left the foundation last fall when he became the Boston Red Sox manager), the skipper has pulled a double-switch:

“My name was on the line and I said I would step in, but it’s his [developer Joseph Beninati, who started the All-American Athletic Foundation in Stamford, Conn. back in 2009.] responsibility,” Valentine said.

Classy.
