Boomer Esiason Furious as WFAN Co-Worker Sells Mets Tickets: Source

It is no secret that one of the broadcasters at WFAN in NY, Evan Roberts, sells his Mets season tickets. Ev apparently sells individual games out, utilizing the FAN's press pass to attend instead.

Sources inside WFAN say that this misdeed has pissed off Boomer & Carton morning host Boomer Esiason to no end.

"Boomer was livid. He wanted to know why Roberts was using the WFAN pass and making money on his ticket sales and why he hadn't, instead, donated some of the Mets ducats to his foundation. It was like he had a sense of entitlement."

Boomer is the face of the Boomer Esiason Foundation which has 'vowed to eliminate the threat of cystic fibrosis.'

When Twitter user Mediafire tweeted Evan about the apparent disagreeable work environment (this is the same station that had V/P Sports Programming CBS Radio, V/P Programming CBS Radio New York, WFAN Operations Manager Mark Chernoff issue a companywide memo that no one is to touch the morning show's vitaminwater®), Ev tweeted back:

@MediaFire I offered once and he turned them down true story

Even odder, why would Esiason turn them down?

Perhaps rebuffed by the ex-Jets quarterback because Boomer saw it as too little and much too late?
