Did Sens Matt Carkner Flick Blood on the NY Rangers Bench? [Video]

Ottawa Senators defenseman Matt Carkner was bloody after his fight with New York Ranger Derek Boogaard last night. As Carkner skated away, he appeared to flick his bloody hand at the Rangers' bench.

You are the puss that always bled.

"He just skated by, wiped his brow twice, maybe three times and just flicked (blood) at us. I don't know why, but that's what happened," New York's Brian Boyle said after the game. "I was really surprised."

Carkner was given a 10-minute misconduct penalty along with five for fighting.

"Maybe I made a gesture or something like that," Carkner said. "I don't even know who was bleeding at the time. I saw Boogaard was bleeding on the ice. I was just trying to skate off and get our guys going."

Fan video shows, at least the far end of the Rangers' bench, pretty unconcerned.
