Motocross Rider Mike Metzger Seriously Injured Following Crash [Video]

35-year-old American Mike Metzger crashed during an event at the Orange Arena (Zimný štadión Ondreja Nepelu) [former Samsung Arena] in Bratislava, Slovakia.

(*Update - Mike has been seriously injured, again, at his home. 7/17/2011)



Details are sketchy. We know that he was immediately taken to a hospital where he may have awakened. Sources indicate he has a broken collarbone, bruised lungs, and a concussion. He reportedly was wearing only a tee shirt (no protective gear).



This from a guy who once impaled and lost his left testicle.
