On Friday December 23rd "Pints For Cheer" benefit for the St. Raphaels Children's Hospital will be held at O'tooles Irish Pub located on 157 Orange Street, New Haven CT at 6pm until close. This event will be featuring the third annual "Extravagant Holiday Pageant" sponsored by "By The Sea Inn & Day Spa" and "Salon East" (both in Branford CT.), a large raffle which includes a Panasonic HD TV, signed sports memorabilia, and live music from The One Night Stands, Damopes, Dwight Smith, Skratch Happy and Silence Beneath Us. The event kicks off at 6PM with a free food buffet donated by O'tooles and live music by Allen Gogarty. There will be food specials until the kitchen closes and there will be very affordable beer, and drink specials starting at $2. There will be a suggested $10 cover at the door, but anyone who contributes a new or used Children book to our on-going Book Drive will have a $5 suggested cover. Come out on the 23rd (Christmas Eve Eve) for an extraordinary experience, all the while supporting a great CLAUSE..excuse me cause!
Maryellen Hewitt who runs the Pediatric center stated after the 2010 event "We hope to use your donation to purchase a machine that will allow us to collect samples for mandatory lead levels in a way that is less painful for the children. Without your donation that would not be possible"
