Wow. I'll have another scratched from the Belmont. 34 years and counting since last Triple Crown Winner.

Yet Awful Announcing provide some news that should make for a great O'Neill diary entry in tomorrow's NY Post
Doug O'Neill on I'll Have Another's scratch: "I've been on suicide watch for the last half hour."

Details via the Dan Patrick Show:
O’Neill said I’ll Have Another looks fine. He said he will walk the horse in front of the media at his 1 p.m. ET press conference to show everyone that the horse is doing well. But he has the beginning of the injury and they can’t run him at Belmont on Saturday.
Dan asked O’Neill if I’ll Have Another has raced his last horse. ”If I had to wager … I would say yes,” O’Neill said.
The injury? Go ahead. Take a guess first. “He has the start of some tendinitis in the left front leg,” O’Neill said.
