If We Could Send US Female Olympians to Their Own Island, They'd Rank 5th in Medal Count

Mother Jones reports that the United states had 268 women and 255 men compete in the 2012 Games. 30% of the female American athletes medaled. Only 15 percent of male American athletes did.


And, apparently, we owe it all to Title IX.
