(Video) That $750k, 1200 sq ft Jumbotron Premiered at Carthage High School

Carthage High School unveiled that behemoth of a Jumbotron you've been hearing about during a scrimmage earlier this week. And tonight they play their first game under it. (Multimedia teacher Bud Worley snapped that pic above.) The $750,000 dollar, 1,200 square-feet screen is the largest of its kind in Texas...and just maybe in all the land.

State Champions in 2008, 09, and 10 -- 66% of voters who approved a bond to pay for it, along with quarterback Jarod Blissett, feel the school deserves it. "We earned it," said Blissett. "We won three state championships. Not many people can say they've done that."

Indeed.
