Timing is Everyting: Restraining Order Lifted 3 days Before Terrell Suggs Ties the Knot

Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs writes on his Facebook page that he and Candace Williams are married: "Last night I married my best friend and the love of my life," Suggs posted. "Our son gave her away and our daughter looked like a miniature version of my beautiful bride as she stood next to her. I'm a lucky, lucky man. Thank you God for all of your blessings and for showing me such amazing favor."

Suggs is very lucky in love and timing. Williams had a restraining order lifted just 3 days before the nuptials:

She had alleged a domestic violence incident in early September, but filed no charges, the paper [The Baltimore Sun] reported. Williams voluntarily withdrew the filing, which alleged the former Pro Bowler punched her in the neck and dragged her alongside a car he was driving while their children sat inside, on Tuesday in Baltimore County Circuit Court during a joint court appearance.

Baltimore County police said two 911 calls were placed from Suggs' address on Nov. 21. However, no reports were taken.

"She has lifted the petition voluntarily, over and done, and he denies the allegations," Lynn Hoffman, Suggs' attorney, told The Baltimore Sun that day following the court appearance. "They're moving forward in the best interests of the children and they've resolved their personal issues.

Interesting -- he also withdrew the Facebook post.
