Minnesota HS lacrosse hit leads to broken collar bone

St. Cloud Tech's (MN) Neil Molitor scored a goal in his team's loss Monday to Spring Lake Park but it was his blitz out of the box to blindside JT Hirschi that had everyone (including JT's teammates who came to challenge Molitor) buzzing. (Lars Eller like, sans the ice.)

Hirschi, whose mom was attending her first lacrosse game, broke his collar bone. He spent yesterday "Sitting in my room, watching the hit over and over again..." The affable but tough JT tweeted: "I should change my name to level 6 wall breaker cause all I do is get blown up..."

Dolly-2-Trolley indeed. The Panthers crushed the Tigers, 10 - 4.

Makes one appreciate John Ranagan's hit all the more.
