Seattle car dealership has to pay out $420,000 to 12 customers because the Seahawks shutout the pathetic Giants

Anyone who purchased a vehicle at the Jet Chevrolet Federal Way car dealership between Wednesday and Saturday night had a chance of winning $35,000...if the Seattle Seahawks shut out the New York Giants.

If you bought a car, you got 100 sweepstakes entries and if you simply visited the dealership, you got one with the promise that Jet would pull 12 winners if the Giants didn't score.

New York didn't score. 23-0 means Jet has to dole out twelve checks for $35,000 each. “We wanted this to happen,” Jet Chevrolet co-owner Jim Johnson said. “Everybody’s pretty excited about it. We didn’t really expect it to happen, but it did.”

Yes, they had insurance.
