Miami of Ohio RedHawk Louie Belpedio's sliding stick save 'Sacrifice' is the best video you'll see this month

With one minute to go in the 3rd period of the NCAA East Regional ice hockey semifinals, the Miami Ohio RedHawks had pulled within one of Providence, 6-5, on the power of three extra attacker goals.

And it has to be this diving stick save by Louis Belpedio, dubbed 'Sacrifice,' that best illustrates the drive that the team showed before eventually running out of time.

Wow. Wow. Wow.

The RedHawks got a chance to set up in the offensive zone with just over 30 seconds remaining and the sixth attacker on the ice, even having the puck come loose near the crease with 24 seconds remaining. However, no Miami stick could get to the loose puck and PC eventually clearned the puck before Brandon Tanev put the game away with an empty net goal with seven seconds remaining.
