Did Mike Francesa violate the terms of his YES Network contract?

Did Mike Francesa violate the terms of his YES Network contract by misleading other potential simulcasting networks that it was OK for him to discuss such things during Super Bowl week? That's the question a source has for us speculating that Mike could only begin negotiating new deals on February 3rd.

Francesa himself said that day (thx to @WFANAudio) that they would begin negotiating from then on forward because, just as of the previous day - Sunday the 2nd, they were 'still being paid' and were only now (that Monday) 'free' to do whatever they wanted to.

And then yesterday...in an effort to try and show how many offers he had -- Mike dumped that he had spoken with an 'aggressive' FOX Sports rep...during said Super Bowl week.

Uh oh.
