2 heads & a foot end NC Women's Regional Soccer Championship ... after 4 OTs

2014 North Carolina's Women's Soccer Championship - 4A tournament, regional series. Hough and Myers park go 4, count 'em, 4 overtimes. Leave it to Alex Denny’s header past the keeper with 1 minute, 14 seconds remaining in the final sudden-death overtime period to give Hough the 2-1 win...off two heads and a foot.

Denny’s game winner was set up by a corner kick, with Nicole Duncan’s shot first deflected by Myers Park goalkeeper Elizabeth Raby. But the deflection was headed back towards the goal by Huskies forward Courtney Carroll, with Denny heading in Carroll’s shot past Raby. Hough goes on to face Panther Creek for the State Championship on 5/31.
