Only Mike Francesa could claim a term, 'window thrower,' was historical and actually coin it at the same time

NFL teams like quarterbacks who can fit the football into tight windows. Madden NFL used to have a digital window that QBs threw to. They have since dropped that feature. (In all Madden games prior to the 95 edition, gamers were limited to the passing window mechanic.)

Leave it to Mike Francesa to have a muddled memory of said 'tight windows,' meld that with 'passing windows,' and then authoritatively declare QBs able to hit such windows are known around the league as 'window throwers.'

The only problem is they are not called window throwers by anyone in football. That didn't stop Al Leiter from promising to Boomer & Carton that he's going to start using the term. How bout that?

In a related note, running backs are "deep backs" & Mike Francesa is sorry if you didn't know defensive backs are also deep backs.
