Two towns down from the Blitz, Monroe (NJ) HS hockey player Mikey Nichols' dad Steve were on Boomer & Carton back in March. Then 17-year-old Mikey suffered a severe injury to his C5 vertebra during a high school varsity game on Jan. 4, 2014.
Mikey himself made the trip to 345 Hudson today to update us on his recovery and to discuss some exciting promise for spinal cord recovery including epidural stimulation research.
