About the event
WFAN's Boomer & Carton team up with injured New Jersey high school hockey player Mikey Nichols to put on an event following a guest appearance on their show last November. A quick and engaging interview subject, Nichols inspired listeners with his desire to assist the paralysis community by promoting the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation campaign, The Big Idea. This campaign aims to raise $15 million to fund epidural stimulation research and bring life-changing therapy to more individuals living with a spinal cord injury.

This game, presented by Boomer & Carton, will feature several NHL Alumni representing the Devils, Islanders and Rangers; participants include Bruce Driver, Colin White, Grant Marshall, Steve Webb, Aaron Asham, Bob Nystrom and Brian Mullen – with more names to be added!

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Nichols Family Trust and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
