The T-Wolves signed D-leaguer Sean Kilpatrick because he was able to drive to MSG last night

The Minnesota Timberwolves needed 8 players for Thursdays' OT win over the Knicks. With Ricky Rubio out, the T-Wolves only had seven for last night's game at Madison Square Garden. (NBA rules require eight eligible players.)

They found their man, Sean Kilpatrick —- in Delaware...playing for the 87ers of the D-League.

Sean jumped in a car and headed to MSG.

This is the quality the NBA, and Phil Jackson specifically, serves up on a nightly basis. Minnesota downed NY 95-92.

Sean played 10 minutes. He didn't score. He had one rebound.
