Chong: We F#cking Did It...No, not that one - the NTU Valedictorian [Video]

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore: 23-year-old communication studies graduate Trinetta Chong, NTU's valedictorian, ended her speech with the following from the Dr. Seuss classic Oh, the Places You'll Go!:

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. YOU are the guys who'll decide where to go...Congratulations to the graduating class of 2011. We fucking did it!"

"The F-word was said in the spirit of the moment," she told Yahoo! Singapore. "At that point, I was feeling really emotional, after 16 years of education and all we had been through... it slipped out. It wasn't scripted at all," she said. And then she Mushnicked: "I said it at that time because I was feeling all those emotions, but I deeply apologise if I offended anyone," she said.

Yahoo! Sports Radio Launches on SIRIUS

Sporting News Radio has been renamed Yahoo! Sports Radio and David Gow, chairman of Gow Broadcasting, said the relationship with Yahoo will include branding, content and promotional elements:

“We’re aligning with the No. 1 sports media web company in the world,” Gow said. “We’re picking up one of the most recognizable brand names in the world. We’re getting access to some of the best sports journalism in the country, and we get to link ourselves together in a way that will accelerate the growth of our digital business.

“When you combine the sports experts of Yahoo and Rivals with our on-air talent and analysts, we believe we will have the best roster in sports radio. And we can take that combined roster and create compelling sports radio, grow our affiliate base and audience size and take our company to much greater heights.”

The new site, YahooSportsRadio.com bills itself as follows:

Yahoo Sports Radio is a product of Gow Broadcasting LLC., a Houston, TX-based firm that creates and distributes quality audio content.

With a focus on spoken word content such as sports and information, Yahoo Sports Radio is the audio steward of performers such as Peter Gammons and Steve Czaban.

Sean Avery May Support Homosexuals...Blacks? Not so Much

NY Rangers gay rights activist Sean Avery is getting some heat from former Los Angeles, 2010-2011 Ranger teammate Alexander Frolov in an interview that Alex did with Sport.ru:

By the way, is not a stupid guy. Besides, now Avery became calmer, smarter. It used to periodically overwhelmed emotions, he could do some nonsense . Remember each of his indiscretion .... He constantly something happens, it's part of his job. Avery need to be talked about. He is really like Sean likes it in the center of attention, he feels at home. Sometimes calls opponents "black monkeys" ... A lot of things all he did not remember everything, telling a long time can be separately talk about his antics.

Here is something that you've never seen before. KABC-TV reporter Leanne Suter was doing a live weather report in Fontana, CA Saturday...when she was shot by a pellet gun. 0:09 = "Look at the blood!"

Two idiot teenagers were taken into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Suter was treated at an area hospital for a hand wound.

Bull v Man with Umbrella

The bull cornered the man in a narrow street before goring him several times. The man was taken to the hospital in Valencia, but died following wounds to the chest and the armpit.

Can a Goddamned Day go By in the NYC Area Without a Charity Fundraiser Being Held?

The answer is, no. Summertime NYC means another day, another charity event. The latest? The Super Saturday 14 to Benefit Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Hosted by Emma Roberts, Kelly Ripa, Donna Karan & Instyle. Boy Rudy Giuliani really didn't look presedential, now did he?

And, of course, since it was held at an offshoot of the Hamptons, Nova's ARK Project Sculpture Park, Howard Stern's wife Beth Ostrosky showed up. Rapidly becoming the Tiki Barber of charity events.
